We all rely on our bodies to do the things we love.

And when things are working as expected, we take it for granted. But more often than not, we get aches and pains that demand a bit more attention.

In fact, musculoskeletal pain is one of the primary reasons to see a doctor. And it’s understandable. Especially given how much our bodies do for us in just the course of a day. It sits with us at our desks, endures that last kilometer on our run and still retains the strength to spend time with our loved ones.

Exercise is an essential part of the treatment. However, we know how difficult it is for most of us to find the right exercises and, frankly, that very few people exercise enough.

That's why we created Injurymap. We want to make it easier for you to treat your muscle and joint pain when you need to, so you can focus on getting back to your active life.

A personal plan

With Injurymap, you can create a training program fitted to your injury and your body. You no longer have to spend energy or time remembering when and how to do your exercises.

Injurymap contains more than 500 exercises, all selected and approved by our medical specialists. Our medical algorithm makes sure you are always exercising at your level. The exercises change as you get better. And the app will warn you if your feedback raises any red flags.

We currently offer treatment of 76 common diagnoses. Injurymap covers all the main regions of the body: neck, shoulder, elbow, back, hip, knee, Achilles tendon, ankle, and arch tendon.

It can be difficult to stay motivated if you exercise alone. That's why we made it easy to set your own unique personal goals and keep track of your progress and achievements. We help you celebrate your victories and make sure that you are aware of the large and small improvements you're making.

Accessible to everyone

Even though no two bodies are completely the same, our bodies all work similarly. We are all made of the same muscles, tendons, and bones, and we all benefit from performing the same exercises when we experience muscle and joint pain.

Injurymap is used by everything from elite athletes to elders that want to be able to keep going for long walks without feeling pain. We developed Injurymap to give everyone the chance to get proper guidance and support for their home exercises.

Our team

Today, we’re a team of 11 people from five different countries. Our medical team is helmed by the experienced specialist doctors, rheumatologists, and Injurymap co-founders Finn Johanssen and Pierre Schydlowsky. The user interface and the technical parts of the app were created by experienced developers who worked on popular Danish apps like Endomondo and Vivino in the past.

Our ultimate goal is to give everyone access to the best possible treatment of muscles and joints through technology.
